Some studies say that we need at least four hugs a day to feel the emotional balance and that’s what our dear ones are there for. Or, in many cases, best friends. But, it looks like humans aren’t the only ones in need of hugs.
Messy is a friendly yellow lab who lives with his mom Oranit Kittragul and enjoys spending time outside, in their backyard.
Just across the street, Messy’s got a friend named Audi, an adorable Husky. As Oranit said for the Dodo:
“When he feels lonely and cries, I always ask my dog to see and talk to him. My dog just looks from my fence and sometime he barks to [Audi]. I don’t know what they are communicating, but he stops crying.”
The puppies usually enjoy being friends just at distance as both yards are fenced in. However, one day Audi saw an opportunity he just felt he had to grab. His owners did not latch the gate properly and the puppy pushed it open and ran. But, looks like he didn’t run too far.
Seems like all Audi wanted was a friendly hug. As he got to Messy’s friend, the two pups reached out to exchange hugs.
Once that whole friend-in-need deed was over, Audi went back to his yard but it looks like that won’t be the last time these two dogs see each other. Isn’t it adorable?!
Messy and Audi reminded us that sometimes all we need is a friendly face, hug, a smile. All those little things are really what life is made of. Share this story if you enjoyed it. Spread the love!!
